The Echo Garden

After inheriting a remote, overgrown botanical garden from a reclusive great-aunt, archivist Leo discovers that the exotic plants within are not of this world. They are “Phonosynthetics,” a unique flora that records and endlessly replays sounds from the past. Initially fascinated, Leo uncovers a cacophony of memories embedded in the leaves and petals—whispers of secrets, arguments, and laughter. But one plant, a grotesque, weeping orchid at the garden’s heart, holds a more sinister recording: the final, terrified moments of his aunt’s life. As the garden’s echoes grow more aggressive and begin to manifest physically, Leo realizes he hasn’t just inherited a collection of plants; he’s become the curator of a living crime scene that is desperate for its story to be heard.
